Well, we can all talk for hours on why loading a different browser other than Internet Explorer is a good idea.  Mashable.com just posted a interesting story, and scary that should help you kick start your interest in changing.  In fact, this should be a mandatory duty of all internet people to stop using IE 6, 7, 8 for the purpose of it being hacked and further causing damage.
