Be afraid, be very afraid.   When a bill is passed, and we ALL don’t know about it until a protest turns into 900 people arrested and for some the only reason they are arrested is that they didn’t have identification on them, we call this Communist.   I  can’t speak from personal experience.  I can however understand history, and my mentor (business advisor) was from Poland from the Communist days.   He was sharing with me a story, of when he was about 18 years old coming home on the bus, the police boarded and asked for his papers.  He forgot them at home as he was rushing out the door.  He was imprissoned for a month.  No phone call, and treated like a harden criminal.

Flash forward to 2010, Ontario.  Dalton McGuinty, Liberal leader passes the Ontario Regulation 233/10 and we find out that in circumstances the police can ask for identification and if you do not provide it, you will be throwing in Jail!   No crime was done.   What happened to, Innocent until proven guilty.   Now WE all should fear for our lives if we forget to bring or ID with us when we walk with our children to the park.

You may read this and say “But this is only in Toronto”.  The scary part is that they introduced it on June 2, 2010 and filed on June 14, 2010 and became in effect June 21, 2010.   This also passed with NO BODY knowing about it.   It took a guy getting “caught”, then asking why, then the newspaper to investigate and then publish it.    This could happen everyday without VOTES, or without public know how.   How many more can be passed, and then enforced and we all wouldn’t know until we are in jail or charged.    Regulations that put me in jail because I don’t have ID on me walking down a street frightens the HELL out of me.  Not sure about you.

Can you say “Germany, 1940.”  We are told “It’s for our own protection”.   We vote for the leaders to best act on OUR interests and our say.  Not their own thoughts and opinions.

The police are here to serve and protect.  They are paid by  OUR taxes.   They are to serve our interest, and to ensure our safety.   This is NOT safety.  This is a bad case of Judge and Jury before we can defend ourselves.

Anything more Dalton McGuinty can do to ruin this province?   I ask you all again….if you voted Liberal, you must be asking.   Why?   A province where I’m scared of the police, as they are no longer there to serve my interests but to now check if I have papers!
