Well, when it rains it pours.   This past weekend was quite the doozy and my Canadian office was affected by it.   One of my staff had his basement flooded (with the sewage) and further damaging about $10k worth of his equipment.

The internet was down all weekend in our office. Can you believe that ALL of them are disconnected.   We are back online and working again, but man…what a pain.  Further, the cost to the company and other businesses that this has caused.   As nobody was able to work yesterday online, we were not able to show proofs.  Can’t show proofs, can’t them to approve.  Can’t approve, can’t close the docket.  No docket closing, no Invoicing.   No invoicing…no money.   Just keeps on pushing on the time to get paid.

All this because mother nature decided to dump a load of water on our city.  The City claims that they’ll be giving residences that had sewage flooding $750 for their pain.  $750!!!   Ouch.  that stinks…and I mean literarily
