Announcement right,

I had heard about this NEW search engine algorithm from Google but there was never an official launch date. The buzz is out and the sandbox is now offline for testing. The final details are that the NEW Google is coming out in January and it appears that Google is now unfolding their secrets more and more each day.

Our own Sean Carter, Production Coordinator for FPM Marketing (FPM3) was invited to partake in the Beta version of the Google Wave and so far it’s pretty amazing. The real story though is the SEO and what does this mean for the future of your current ranking and the listing of your website. The good news is that if you are updating your site with relevant information that is related to your business or your comments are remarking on credible sources that talk about your website, then your going to be doing better than where you were.
However, if you were using some Tricks of the trade for getting your website found as some SEO companies currently sell, then you might be in for a surprise. Google is working hard to get those that offer the services that people are looking for found and are legitimate. This means that you can’t just put up a website with your information and leave it. Your ranking will be priority at the beginning, but over time those in the same industry and do actively update and and post their information about their business are going to overtake you on the ranking page.

FPM Marketing has been working on this for our clients for the past year, where we add to your website with the ability to feed to your social media networks (Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter etc) that it’s accurate and relevant for what you have to offer. This is critical and will be even more so in the coming year.

Google did announce that they are not going to update the algorithm until after Christmas so that businesses that are currently found and rely on the internet for their sales will not be affected. When the NEW YEAR comes though it’s going to be interesting to see where the chips actually fall.

If you wanted to put our social media update package into your website before the new year, FPM Marketing can easily do this and at a cost that won’t be like rebuilding your website! We can work within your existing website and further give you control to have the updates directly to the homepage today in time for the Google new launch!

Visit our contact us page and we’ll set up an appointment.
