Bill 168 – When small business owners become daycare operators

You may or may not of heard of Bill 168.   This is the Harassement in the workplace regulation set by the provincial government that makes owners of the business responsible for the employee’s so they don’t feel bullied at work.

The best part is that if we (small business owners) do NOT follow through with advising staff of what to do, and further encourage speaking out on bullying then the business owner can be fined up to $500,000.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!  This province run by the Liberal Government by the fearless McGuinty is killing small business by the day.   I’m now in charge of making sure that I have a proper daycare at my office.  When you employ adults, are they NOT to be mature individuals that can handle these matters, or feelings.

let me get something straight.  If ANYONE feels that they are being bullied in this workplace, it’s going to be by me!  The only reason they are going to be bullied is because they are NOT doing their job.   If they feel that another employee is bullying them, then I can simply fix it.  Fire the bully or advise the person that can’t handle the heat to get out of the kitchen.

What is this province doing to us.  Now we are babysitters to the staff.  When I come down hard on the staff, am I going to be a bully?

If your looking to start your small business…I’m highly advising you to possibly reconsider BUT only if your looking to open in Ontario.  Bill 168 is another passed piece of garbage by the Liberal government of Ontario to help with controlling and eventually putting this province into a communist operation.

Think I’m over exaggerating?  Feel free to click this and download the official bill of (confusing rewording itself 8 different ways) of how it works.  In the meantime…I’m going to get my baseball bat out to take care of the bullies in my office
